The Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in The Hague, has the honour to inform about the activities that have been organized in the framework of the working visit of the Delegation of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by the Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski:

A visit to the Automotive Campus in Helmond and to the company VDL Group in Eindhoven on 8 December 2011

Working dinner with the Chairman of VNO NCW (Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers), Mr. Bernard E.M. Wientjes and several representatives of relevant Dutch companies on 8 December 2011

Business Forum in The Hague Chamber of Commerce on 9 December 2011.

The Forum was perceived as extremely successful, having in mind the presence of over 120 representatives of Dutch companies, many of which expressed their positive impressions for the quality of the presentations and the overall atmosphere of the Forum.

During the Forum presentations were given by the Prime Minister Gruevski, General Director for International Relations at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation, Mr. Simon Smits, Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Peshevski, Minister Vele Samak and the Director Viktor Mizo. Especially notable was the positive address given by Mr. Smits in regard to the economic policies of the Macedonian Government and his surprise by the high interest of Dutch companies for the Forum.

On the margins of the Forum, the Prime Minister Gruevski had several meetings with relevant representatives from the Dutch Government, from the Macedonian Community in the Netherlands and from few Dutch companies who announced some concrete investments.
