The cooperation in culture between Republic of Macedonia and AR Egypt is defined by the framework of the Agreement for cultural cooperation and is soon expected both countries to sign a new agreement for a two year cooperation.

All the cultural events have many visitors, may they be in our country or Egypt.

The Ministry of foreign affairs of Egypt has a specialized fund, the Egyptian fund for technical cooperation, which offers possibilities for training courses for Macedonian experts in many areas. The Ministry of education and science is coordinating the courses offered by this fund. Egypt has expressed interest in exchanging scientific discoveries and experience in the area of seismology and earthquake engineering. There exists a need for establishment of cooperation between the National Academies of science and art as well as the national libraries of both countries. Republic of Macedonia has an interest in introducing of Macedonian language studies in Egypt and Arabic in Macedonia.
