Bilateral relations between Republic of Macedonia and Arab Republic of Egypt from political aspect are developing successfully among mutual respect and constructive dialogue as well as readiness to improve overall relations and cooperation. Republic of Macedonia values the comparative advantages of AR Egypt highly, the influencing role this country has in international scene of politics and as a country with exclusive role in the Middle the Arab world and Africa.

The Macedonian foreign policy insists on continuous political dialogue, which is of utmost importance for the purpose of improving the mutual relation

In accordance with this, efforts are made for organizing meetings of the highest political figures of both countries during 2010. It is also necessary to provide continuity in the political dialogue through mutual political and consular consultations, for the purpose of establishing new, higher forms of cooperation in all areas that are subject of common interest.

Republic of Macedonia and Arab Republic of Egypt are successfully cooperating in the framework of international organizations and institutions. Both states exchange their opinions and positions for the current international events on a regular basis. In that regard, HE Ahmed Aboul Gheit FM of Egypt made an official visit to our country, in February this year, and he meet with his host FM of Republic of Macedonia  HE Antonio Miloshoski and several meetings with the state leadership.

During his visit, Protocol for cooperation was agreed upon and signed, and readiness for regulating the state of the agreements was announced.
