With deep sadness and regret, the Embassy of the Republic of Macedonia in Bucharest, as well as the Macedonian community in Romania, were devastated upon receiving the news on the sudden and premature death of the Member of the Parliament of Romania, Ms. Liana Dumitrescu.

  The premature death of the Deputy Liana Dumitrescu, represents an immense loss for her parents, relatives, friends and close people.

  With her death, the Parliament of Romania (where, until her death, she had been a member), the community of Macedonians in Romania, the Macedonian diaspora in general, the Faculty, as well as the other University institutions where she had developed her scientific profile, as well as her personality, have lost a prominent member.

  With the premature death of Liana, we have all lost a good human being, a friend, an associate, a dedicated and passionate worker and humanist, a person who will proudly and eternally remain in our memories.

 May God bless her and may she rest in peace.

  Upon the occassion of the death of the Member of the Parliament, Ms. Liana Dumitrescu, expressions of deep condolences have been sent by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Antonio Miloshoski, as well as by the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia to Romania, H.E. Ljupco Arsovski.
